Royal Albert Hall is a GREAT, MASTERFUL & AWING live show…
Just here they always got fucked up before the performance, but in the middle they were great.
Just the nervousness, pressure from the filming, the feeling & the being drunk/high really took a tole on the first song to perform on concert.
But 1973 and on, just having too much fun really dragged them down, but we’re great at performing in 68 to 72 though. Actually more than great, it were these performance that :O!

He smoked a lil bit too much before the show… his voice is now cracky, but he fights through it like he always does.
That’s why they stopped doing Immigrant Song as the song to start a concert.
Smoking really killed his voice.
And also add nervousness, & add the extra pressure from the cameras.
And these cameras were right in your face.
If Bonham had not been named John, his name would have probably been The God Bonham.
