I love Zeppelin, but they are a better studio band than live band. I saw them back in 1975 at the old Chicago Stadium. Plant is an average live singer and Page is too sloppy. The guy who commented that Page is better than Hendrix knows little about music. I could name 5 better guitarist than Page. Alvin Lee, Clapton, West, Montrose, Trower. John Paul Jones was the best musician in the group.
All that unhinged screaming has damaged his upper voice by 1973!We do this song in the original studio key.Paul Rogers had a shorter more reigned in scream hence keeping his voice in good order for40 yrs.We are serious Led Zep fans,but its a shame to him not being able to do this song as in the original recording.I wouldn’t pay to see this standard of singing from big names.
